Nailsea District Enjoy A Day At Legoland

100 Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Leaders and parent helpers from Nailsea went to Legoland on Saturday 26th March, joining 2,900 other members of Girlguiding from Girlguiding South West Region for a Legoland Takeover Day! They had brilliant fun, with one young member describing it as ‘the best day ever’. 3rd Nailsea Rainbows, 1st Nailsea Brownies, 5th Nailsea Brownies, 9th Nailsea Brownies, 1st Nailsea Guides and 6th Nailsea Guides all went; leaving at 8am in the morning from Clevedon Road Car Park and arriving back at 7pm – everybody loved it and was very tired afterwards. One Rainbow made her Promise there and another was presented her Rainbow Silver Award by the Chief Commissioner of Girlguiding South West. Everyone who attended for given a special badge commemorating the event and those who met the Chief Commissioner team got given a badge from them too. Thank you to Nailsea’s District Commissioner, Kate Moore, for organising this trip!
