Units from Nailsea, Clevedon East and Cleeve all took part in their towns Remembrance parades and services of Remembrance on Remembrance Sunday. All the girls and volunteers who took part braved the weather to proudly represent Girlguiding alongside other organisations from their local communities. For Nailsea, it was the first time the Rainbows have been allowed to parade and the biggest parade the town has had on Remembrance Sunday with lots of young members of organisations taking part whilst Clevedon East had 62 Rainbows, Brownies and Guides take part!
Units individually have also been busy with Remembrance activities. 3rd Nailsea Rainbows enjoyed finger painting their own poppy fields whilst Brownies from Clevedon East enjoyed painting rocks, decorating the windows of Clevedon East Guide Hut, making poppy pictures and their own poppies.
