For this year’s Thinking Day, 1st Clevedon West Guides and Rangers took a trip around the world over three consecutive meetings, following the lines of longitude and latitude to our destinations.
We took in the Ivory Coast via an Elephant Drive, played clapping games in Canada, wove imitation Kente Cloth in Ghana, wrote postcards to our contemporaries in Ukraine, designed a zoo to rival that in Leipzig, Germany and learned about the horsemanship of the Mongolians. Following target practice, we made our own horses, raced them and then rode them into our Guide horseshoe for TAPS.
Happy Thinking Day everyone.
