1st and 6th Clevedon West Guides have been very busy on zoom working towards Golden Anniversary badge for Girlguiding South West Region. They are also looking forward to some outdoor face to face meetings soon.

They have:

Designed and created hands to go onto ‘hug cards’ for all the care homes in Clevedon 
Decided who and why we would invite to a celebration tea party
Learned the history of St George and coloured a drawing for our Scrap books
Made lemonade scones
Looked at Clevedon’s coat of arms and designed our own
Designed a party outfit and made a hat
Compared our ‘happy things’
Created posters using stencils to promote 50 years

Looked at celebration words in different languages
Made origami flowers
Shared Guiding memories
Looked at historic Guide badges and designed some new ones
