County Volunteers Day

About 100 leaders from all across Girlguiding Somerset North County met up at Yeo Valley HQ last Saturday for County Volunteer’s Day. It is a beautiful location and the views are wonderful.

After a welcome from the County Commissioner and the presenting of some well deserved awards we had a very interesting and informative talk from the leader of the National Autistic Society North Somerset Branch. This was followed by some section specific programme training.

We had a very enjoyable lunch with everyone talking the opportunity to chat to friends.

After lunch we had a Wellness session followed by some craft activities.

It was a lovely event enjoyed by all – and of course there was a badge 🙂
