Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Rangers from Clevedon, Nailsea and Long Ashton joined girls and adults from all other Girlguiding Somerset North for a weekend of adventurous activities at Mendip Activity Centre.
Rainbows from Clevedon East District and Nailsea District enjoyed their own activities. They spent the day tobogganing, having a go at frisbee golf and games, fire lighting and building mini-dens.
Brownies, Guides and Rangers were able to do a variety of activities. Brownies from Nailsea, Clevedon East and Long Ashton Districts took part in axe-throwing and mission impossible team building activities. Brownies from Long Ashton District also had a go at climbing and abseiling, whilst Guides and Rangers from Nailsea, Long Ashton and Clevedon West Districts spent the day at Mendip Activity Centre’s water sports site getting extremely muddy on the assault course and enjoying getting wet kayaking and stand up paddle boarding on the river.
Everybody had a lot of fun and really loved trying out something new and getting together with other members of Girlguiding!
