The Division celebrate Remembrance

Units and Districts throughout Wraxall Division have been busy remembering Remembrance Day this week.

Clevedon East and Clevedon West Districts sent representatives to a small Remembrance service at St Andrews Church, Clevedon where they laid a wreath. Nailsea District also laid a wreath at the war memorial at Holy Trinity Church, Nailsea.

Units have been busy holding meetings over zoom and adapting activities to be done at home, including Remembrance activities. 6th Nailsea Guides have been making their own poppies and Cleeve Guides have been making poppy windmills. 10th Nailsea Brownies, 5th Nailsea Brownies and Clevedon East Brownies have all been decorating Remembrance stones and placing them at war memorials and in Nailsea town centre. 3rd Nailsea Rainbows have been making poppy field pictures. All the units have learned about Remembrance and why we remember along with some people who have been involved in conflicts in the past.
